He graduated from the Academy of Hospitality and Catering in Poznan in the field of management and marketing. In 1998–2006 he was the president of the board of the Polish Association of Butchers and Cured Meat Makers. Since 2006 he has been the president of the board of the Union of Producers and Employers of Meat Industry (UPEMI). In addition, he is the vice-chairman of the Management Committee of the Pig Meat Promotion Fund and a member of the Polish Federation of Food Industry. In 2002, he was awarded the “Silver Cross of Merit” by the President of the Republic of Poland, Aleksander Kwasniewski, for his work. In 2006, he received the „Eagle of Agribusiness” and „Merit for Agriculture” awards. As the president of UPEMI, he is responsible for comprehensive service for UPEMI members in the field of legal protection as well as organisation and participation in fairs, conferences and trainings. He also provides consultancy services in the area of acquiring new markets, participates in the work of the Social Dialogue Council at the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as in industry teams of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture.
